Humble Beginnings.

Ever since I was a little kid, I loved to tinker. From tearing apart old electronics and bicycles to building a street luge and flying down the neighborhood hill at 25mph. I had an insatiable curiosity about how things worked and wanted to create with my hands. As I grew older; I got better at carpentry and working on cars; even restoring a 1967 Mustang with my father. I told him I wanted to work on it and he sat in the driveway with a cooler of beer and a handful of cigars and said “Start pulling the motor, let me know when you need help.” From the time I was 13 to 16, I spent every weekend cleaning every nut and bolt on that car with the grinding wheel, and eventually reassembled it. Pulling up to school as a 16 year old in a fully restored muscle car is one of the most fond memories I have of my childhood.

I spent my summers as a teenager helping a family friend remodel rental properties, and learning the tricks of the trade. Some of these houses were in rough shape when we arrived, but through countless hours tackling one room at a time; we’d turn these houses into something most people would love living in. It was during this time I learned the most of my handyman skills. I would gradually be given more difficult tasks as the years went on, leading me to have my current confidence in completing a project I’m proud of.

As I’ve grown older and leaned into the 9-5 life heavier; I’ve grown apart from the time I used to take to tinker and create. Well now I’m adding fuel back to that fire burning deep down inside and I’m making a drastic career change. Since 2014 I’ve been in some form of a customer service role, and there is no greater feeling than helping someone solve a unique problem, especially when you’re the expert on the subject. It’s time to combine these two skillsets and help you live more comfortably.
